As the Scourge spread, their corruption destabilized the Veil, widening fractures and leaving reality teetering on the brink of collapse. At the heart of this struggle is the Final Eclipse, a prophesied event marking the complete collapse of the Veil. If the Eclipse Heart, the Veil’s core, falls into the hands of the Scourge, the multiverse will be consumed by eternal darkness.

Desperate to counter the Scourge’s advance, the Ethereal Arbiter, Kaelthas, stepped forward. Claiming to hear the Veil’s voice, he forged the Phantom Guard, a legion of spectral warriors imbued with fragments of the Veil itself. Each faction within the Guard was created with a distinct purpose, united by their mission to protect the Veil at all costs.

But unity among the factions was fragile. Mistrust, differing philosophies, and conflicting strategies threatened their collective strength. As the Final Eclipse drew near, the Phantom Guard faced not only an external threat but also the growing tension within their ranks.

While the Phantom Guard was created to unite against the Scourge, the factions often clash with one another. Each sees their method as the only viable solution, creating divisions that threaten their collective strength. Mistrust, ideological differences, and personal vendettas complicate their mission, leaving the Veil even more vulnerable.

The Final Eclipse is the ultimate culmination of the Scourge’s plans. Led by Malrith, the Unraveler, the Scourge seeks to destroy the Veil entirely by consuming the Eclipse Heart. The event is prophesied to unmake the lattice of creation, plunging all realms into the Abyss. However, some believe the Eclipse Heart is not merely a force of destruction but also a potential key to rebirth... a chance to restore balance.
